Have you ever seen advertising without women? Me? Neither!

Well...I constat that in every ads you always have a feminine presence even in ads for food. It’s incredible! For example in Invictus, the perfume, you see many women in seductive position to attract men and like that they buy the perfume. Today I don’t want to talk about Invictus but the last perfume of Guerlain La petite Robe Noire. I really like this ad, very refreshing, beautiful.

But first of all let’s begin with little history of this perfume.

In 2009, the first edition of the perfume La petite Robe Noire was brought onto the commercial market. During that period the new fragrance was only available in the Guerlain boutiques in Paris. Elsewhere it was very difficult to obtain the elixir with sweet notes of lemon and vanilla or even rose and violet. In 2012, Thierry Wasser added to the aroma with black cherry and bergamot on the head notes, heart notes of Black Rose and base notes of smoked tea and patchouli. La petite Robe Noire is a sensual, delicate and ultra feminine perfume and has been available since March 5, 2012.

Advertising without an actress was a very daring idea, nevertheless, Guerlain did it. The TV star is just an illustration, with the soft and feminine colours of the famous petite Robe noire. No face, no human attributes but a slender woman wearing a little black dress, adorned with a chic hat and pumps, wanders the streets of Paris to the tune of These boots are made for walking by Nancy Sinatra. The little black dress, a timeless and essential basic of all closets, is the star of this spot. This gorgeous woman represents the French fashion and also the elegance of French women. The ad makes many references of famous monuments in Paris like the “Arc de Triomphe” or “The Effel Tower”.
